It is reported that the selectors are ready to call back the two most influential players of the Sri Lankan cricket team, Angelo Mathews and Kusal Janith Perera, in the nine-match series against India in November.

Angelo Mathews lost the Pakistan tour due to an injury to India in the match against Sri Lanka. Zimbabwe lost their last three wins against Pakistan in the third and final Test on Tuesday.

It is reported that both of them have recovered from their disabilities, but both players are expected to pass the fitness test to prove this.

Angelo Mathews, who played in Tests in the ICC Cricket World Cup in July and August in June 2011, resigned as coach of the ICC Cricket World Cup for the second and third Twenty20 matches in the United Arab Emirates and Pakistan. Mathews scored 184 runs with three fours and a six in the three Tests against India. He scored 192 with two half-centuries. Mathews was able to score two half-centuries against India in the last two ODIs against India.

The select committee has taken steps to rest until he regains full recovery due to casualties from time to time, although he was preparing to play for Pakistan.

Kusal Janith Perera scored unbeaten half centuries to guide South Africa to victory in the Champions Trophy Group B match against India on Monday.

According to the reports, Asela Gunaratne, left hand batsman, has failed to recover due to the bone fracture in the left arm. In the last Test match, Zimbabwe scored 125 for the loss of Zimbabwe and 2 for 28 for the loss of the last two wickets.

Sri Lanka will play three Tests, one-day internationals and three T20s against India and will start on November 16 in Calcutta.
