The under 14 players have an international experience

Sri Lanka tour of the Manchester United X Factor Academy finished with international experience of under-14 cricket academies and sports clubs. In particular, many academics who play only cricket academies and school teams have had the opportunity to compete with such an international team.

Members of the XIV Pro Cricket Academy will be visiting Sri Lanka annually for the age group, with former Sri Lankan Amal Dalagoda. Dalugoda is a trainer of the Academy, while another coach, Paul Tube, is also in the tour.

XI Pro XI Cricket Academy Under 14 team led by Sean Dickinson came to Sri Lanka for a week’s tour to Bloomfield this evening. They lost their first match of the Inter-Provincial under 14 cricket tournament by 149 runs.

NCC won the toss Under-14 were able to score 279 runs for the loss of all wickets. Devinda (53) and Navodya (50) top scored with a magnificent 47 runs. Dennis Morris picked up three wickets for 45 runs.

Xp and CCC Cricketer of the Match: Tharanga Paranavitana was the pick of the bowlers taking 2 wickets. The match was over. Xavier Franklin scored a century in the first innings, while Xavignas was the only player to score a century. The match was over. Tom X Parthin Taylor scored 30 in the first innings. Yashin Halapola picked 02 wickets for the visitors. In reply, CCC Dethe Nelumdeniya scored 35 runs for the team. George Taylor picked up four wickets for 28 runs and Sean Dickinson took 02 wickets.

XI Pro Asoka Vidyalaya scored 21 runs in the first match of the Colts Cricket Club Ground in their Colts Cricket Club Combined semi-final played at the Colts grounds. Xavier Dickwella, who made his debut in the first match of the Colts Cricket Club, scored 125 runs for the loss of 04 wickets at the end of 20 overs. Tom Ganshom scored an unbeaten 71 runs. In reply, Colts scored 104 runs for the sixth wicket. Malinga Seelakalum scored 23 runs while Sachindu Serasinghe scored 31 runs. Tom Ganshou won the toss and picked 02 wickets. Xavier Stuart, who won the toss and elected to bat first, scored 115 runs for the loss of 04 wickets at the end of 20 overs. Skipper Sean Dickinson scored 43 runs and Jacob Halend scored 24. Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first. Colts scored their third victory in the innings. Malindu Lalakalum (34) and Thalip Jaya (26) were the main contributors.

X-Fighters defeated the Negombo Cricket Club by 24 runs at the Moors SC grounds on Saturday. Xavier Stuart, who won the toss and elected to bat first, scored 143 runs for the loss of six wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Negombo were able to score only 119 runs for the loss of 8 wickets at the end of 20 overs.

Tom Gantzman scored 51 runs for Xavier Pro, while Tom Parking scored 24 runs. Tharusha Nimsara took 02 wickets. Shakin Faus and Lahiru Radeeshan shared one wicket each. In reply, Negombo’s Senev Dinuwara scored 29 runs and Savindu Perera scored 27 runs. Dennis Morris and Jacob Hiland each bagged three wickets each.

X-Fighters defeated Kangaroo Cricket Academy by 14 runs in the afternoon. Xavier Pollard scored an unbeaten 85 in the first innings and Kangaroo scored 71 runs for the loss of 9 wickets.

Tom Partington scored 50 runs for Xav’s. Abdurrahman Rasheed claimed two wickets for 13 runs. Mohammad Rashid scored 19 runs for the Kangaroo team. Tom Swansfield picked up four wickets for 15 runs while Tom Ganshom took 2 wickets for 16 runs.
