The International Monetary Fund (IMF) approves $ 167 million to Sri Lanka

The fund has been approved by the IMF to release the next tranche of the International Monetary Fund loan.

Its value is 167.2 million US dollars.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) decided to release the next part of the loan facility to Sri Lanka, with the conclusion of the 2nd review.

With the release of this installment, the total amount granted under the loan assistance is US $ 501.5 million.

Through this loan facility, Sri Lanka will receive US $ 1.45 billion to Sri Lanka within six years.

According to Sri Lanka’s economic progress, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) agreed to extend this loan facility to Sri Lanka in 2016.

Following its 2nd Progress Review, the IMF said that the new heyday act would allow the IMF to come together.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) states that the new tax policy will create a more efficient and equitable methodology and will provide resources for social and development programs.
