India won the toss and elected to bat first. The match was played at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo yesterday. It was an exciting year for the Indian Cricket team in Sri Lanka to win all the matches and record it.

Virat Kohli, who won the toss and elected to bat, invited Sri Lanka to bat first, scoring 170 runs for the loss of 7 wickets. India won the toss and elected to bat where they put up a score of 174 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 19.2 overs.

The match was decided at 7:45 pm due to heavy rains. Yashvinder Chahal took 3 wickets and Kuldidep Yadav took 2 wickets.
