The LVL Energy Fund joins the listing of listed companies by launching a successful start in 2018
LVL Energy Fund Limited, the new company that was listed on the Colombo Stock Exchange, has commenced trading its Secondary Stock Markets (09). LVL Energy Fund Limited acquired 1.2 billion rupees of IPO during the last IPO last year.
The event was held at the Colombo Stock Exchange today. Sumith Aangala from LVL Energy Fund Limited, CEO of Lanka Ventures PLC, Maheswaran, Manager of the issue Deva Ellepola, Executive Director of Acuity Partners (Pvt) Limited and Shehan Cooray, Senior Vice President Corporate Finance. In addition, the CEO of the Colombo Stock Exchange, Rajiva Bandaranayake and Director Dilshan Weerasekera also participated in the event.
Addressing Ada Derana, Sumith Aangala, CEO of LVL Energy Fund Limited said,
"There were around 750 applications for the IPO. Most of them are small holders. "
"Every project in our country is a renewable energy project. Two wind power projects in Chunnakkam have been planned. We also invest in two hydro power projects from the IPO. In addition, the Ceylon Electricity Board invites solar energy projects to be invited. We are ready to join in. "
