Colombo drops 100 shares in the aftermath of the budget
The Colombo All Share Price Index dropped by 53.65 points today. At the end of the day, the All Share Price Index was 6,457.90 which was 0.82% less than the previous day.

Meanwhile, the S & P SL20 closed at 43.79 points and ended the day at 3,770.19. This is a reduction of 1.15% over the previous day.
Daily turnover of Rs. 670.33 was reported from daily transactions. The local purchases made 222.74 million rupees and sales were 591.73 million rupees.

Foreign purchases recorded a total of 447.58 million rupees and foreign sales totaling 78.59 million rupees.

Share prices fell jumpy in John Keells Holdings, Commercial Bank, Ceylon Cold Stores, LLOC and Lanka Hospitals.
